Book Launch Marketing for Authors
You’ve written the book. Now you need to tell people about it, preferably without spending the weeks before publication wondering what on earth to post.
I’m Dani, the social media manager behind Build the Buzz. I help authors promote their books with social media content that sounds like them and gives the right readers a reason to take a closer look.
I especially enjoy working with self-published authors who are handling a lot of the launch themselves. You can come to me directly, whether you’re self-publishing or working with a publisher.

Two ways to get help with your book launch
Book launch content you can post yourself
Happy to run your own social media, but need help working out what to say and turning it into posts? I can create the content and send it to you ready to share.
I’ll get to know your book, your voice, and the readers you want to reach. Depending on where you are in the launch, I could create a cover reveal, a carousel introducing the book, a behind-the-scenes post about why you wrote it, or a launch-day announcement showing readers where to buy it.
You’ll have posts and captions made for your book, with the freedom to publish them on your own accounts.

Social media management for your book launch
If you’d like to hand over the social media side of your launch, I can plan, create and publish your content across the platforms we agree on.
We’ll start with your release date, how much time we have and what you want readers to know about the book. Then I’ll work out what to share and when. That might mean introducing your book to readers in the run-up to publication, announcing that it’s available, or keeping the conversation going after launch day.
This option suits authors who want someone to take care of the day-to-day posting while they get on with the rest of the launch.

Support that fits your release date
Some authors get in touch while they’re still planning their cover reveal. Others already have a release date in the diary and need help deciding what to prioritise.
We’ll agree the scope based on what you need, what you already have and how much time there is before publication. Tell me what you’d like to handle yourself and where you’d appreciate a hand, and we can work out what makes sense for your launch.
Books I’ve helped promote
I work closely with Mabel & Stanley Publishing and have supported the social media marketing for the seven books pictured here. They include Ravenscourt and Tower of Vengeance by Samantha Ward-Smith, True North by Sal Naseem and One More Try by Paula C Russell.
Every book gives readers a different reason to pick it up. For a gothic novel, it might be a glimpse of the setting or a detail that makes them curious about a character. For a non-fiction book, it might be the question it answers or the experience that led you to write it. I look for those details so there’s something interesting to say about your book beyond “it’s out now”.
Tell me about your book
Send me a short description of your book, your expected release date if you have one, and whether you’d like content to post yourself or help managing the launch. If you’re still deciding what kind of support you need, tell me what stage you’re at and we can start there.
